Man sportage, I hope you're right... but the team I've followed closest in this tournament is Panama, and they keep doing things they have no right doing... like qualifying, advancing, and now being in the finals... in case you didn't know,
Greece was much like this... one of the worst projected sides in Euro2004. They barely qualified, starting with an upset of host Portugal. Russia, another pathetic side, beat the Greeks for their only loss of the tournament... Then a 1-0 win and a penalty shootout victory against the Czechs later and Greece got to play Portugal again in the finals of the tournament, where they ultimately triumphed against all odds. They were 100-1 when the tournament started to win, and even still 28-1 after qualifying was said and done.
Panama strikes a massive upset over Colombia in round 1, hangs on to qualify, wins a shootout against South Africa and then blows away Colombia again to take on the host side, USA.... Sounds AWFULLY familiar...
I'm done attacking this team though... I've said that it's been time and time again that they have sucked it up during WCQs and such, but after scoring 3 goals for the first time in 3 years, I've had enough fading them. But you know I'll be all over the Panamanians to get killed in their next WCQ... because Greece in WCQs? Getting killed and won't qualify for the tourament in all likelihood....

You cant seriously play against costa rica (dont mean to offend ricans but you know what i mean) and Panama!!! thats just not fair!!!
They will probably easily qualify for every single world cup finals for the next 40 years if they stay in this region and probably even fluke one win if the sport keeps on growing!!!!
watched the panama game the other night and thought they would get a result, you cannot for one moment back a team like columbia at -200 no way , no chance. ended up taking +1 goal -114 in the end and win,lose, or draw was happy to take them. at the end columbia had chances but did not take them.
usa could be -350/400 easily but finals can be tense and i might end up taking panama +1 1/2, 2 or on the asians , as usa have conceeded a few and panama use very strong armed tactics so it might get tight.
